Value

A capability provided to a customer at the right time at an appropriate price, as defined in each case by the customer.

Value Stream

The specific activities required to design, order and provide a specific product, from concept to launch, order to delivery and raw materials into the hands of the customer.

Flow

The progressive achievement of tasks along the value stream so that a product proceeds from design to launch, order to delivery and raw materials into the hands of the customer with no stoppage, scrap or backflows.

Pull

A system of cascading production and delivery instructions from downstream to upstream activities in which nothing is produced by the upstream supplier until the downstream customer signals a need. The opposite of push.

Perfection

The complete elimination of “muda” (Japanese for "waste"), so that all activities along a value stream create value.

Production

Our 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility includes a fully equipped tool and die capability giving you design flexibility and cost savings. Based on progressive carbide looping line technology, each of our “scrapless” work centers is gauge-specific and can accommodate different types of metal, hinge open widths up to 4” open and hole patterns. We can also build custom tooling with Value Added options to meet your needs.

You can order any of our 150+ standard continuous hinges conveniently online from the industry’s largest inventory and get next business day shipping. This gives you greater inventory control and flexibility. We also provide free inventory management service for blanket order customers and those requiring integrated supply and just-in-time deliveries.

Coil & Wire

To assure exceptional quality, all vendors are pre-qualified and all supplies and materials are thoroughly inspected before production begins. In addition, all steel, stainless steel, aluminum, electro-galvanized steel and pre-plated brass and nickel coils and wire must meet our stringent tolerances for fit and finish. To keep costs as low as possible, we source only prime metals from mills worldwide.
